Jim's Blog Post

I imagined that once i step into the college life that life would be moving to rapidly for me to keep up. To some extent this is true, but i find it managable too, like when i go to school, im able to end class and go to work. It may not seem like a big deal, but its nice how it fit in, school and then work. Not a complicated schedule like work, then school, and then some days, cut mid school for work. I guess you could say i got lucky picking my job. For the past weeks i've been spending time with a family that is not my own, speaking of which my own family is getting more suited with changing the way they live. I want them to be more civilized and not the typical latino family. Continuing with the "new" family experience. I find that lifestyle more suited to my taste, but i know i shouldn't mimic it, because i also need to be my individual self, but i know that i have found a role model. And it's not someone famous or extrodinary. But rather a man with a son and a future wife. From his past tales and experiences that occasionally get shared, i get a bit wiser. It's nice to know someone who has that kind of knowledge to share. And i know that people like that are hard to come by these days. Most parents shun their children or resort to immediate physical punishments, but some families like this one in particular are able to cope with speed bumps in a humane way. Taking their own experiences from their own life to understand the lifes of others. I guess you could say that i learned a lot from this family, and it's making me a better person i believe.

Ever since school started i feel more capable of handling things. I know that if i set my mind on it and have the philosophy of half full, i know my goals are in reach. I need to take small steps to help me maintain a cleaner room. If only i was more creative to have utilize my room more. I have the occasional sticky note, but i forget it's there when i get home. I need to make a plan to make my room more jim friendly.

I have also been thinking of opening a bank account, because i need to become financially succesful. So i'll research some more on that, and now im getting to a closing point because o type slow :D

P.s. I end my posts with this, because i truly do. I miss you chauzy.

It's those butterflies, she gives them to me. I care about her so much and she needs to know that i'll protect her no matter what. Ill be here for her always and always. You won't be alone chau. This has been i tough week for you and im sorry about the issue arising, but i know that we can overcome it, just like overcome all the other obstacles that try to interfere, together we overcome anything we put our hearts and minds into. I really am proud of how positive you are about life, i think that people should be more like you, and then the world would be filled with green grass and clear skies, that's how you make me feel. I can honestly say, that in my head in mi imagination, living with you sounds like the good life. The future is ours for the taking baby. Im glad that the chicken noodle soup made you feel a bits better :]

I can't wait to see you today(sunday) I already miss you like crazy, and so does ponyoyo
